I didn't go to college (wish I did). I guess I was kind of a "burn out" in high school. I'm glad I got it together. I became a machinist in 1989, my first son was born in 1992. I began working where I'm at now in 1993. I've worked my way up to lead set up man, tried the department supervisor position (I wasn't enough of a prick for the company), and now I'm, once again, a lead set up man. We manufacture small parts and components for Pratt & Whitney jet engines. Anyway, I met my wife in '94, we got married in July '95, lived in Painesville until moving to Madison in November '97. My second son came along in October '99. All the while I've been moonlighting as a rock star (just kidding). I have been knocking around in various local bands for the past 16 years playing guitar or keyboards or singing or all of the above. I currently play with Bobz Bad Habit with one of our classmates, Scott Pretzeus, on drums and also, I play guitar and sing with Big Angry, also based out of Lake County (Mentor to be exact). As a hobby I write and record my own songs on my state-of-the-abstract-art-desktop-computer-and-software-based-micro-recording-studio here in my diningroom.
School Story:
What can I say? Those who remember me back in the day remember me as kind of a "burnout", or stoner, frybrain, etc.. I'm glad to say I've grown up to be a responsible adult. I now find myself so far removed from the kid I used to be 20 years ago. I have a lot of fond memories of high school, just the whole experience. I loved astronomy class. I still have an incredible facination with astronomy. I find it weird how we control so much of our lives yet have no control over so much of our lives. We blink and it's 2008 and here we are.
